buses.
- Sundays almost everything is closed except big supermarket and shopping center, from Nieuwedijkstraat until Leidseplein.
- New Year's Day (Jan 1), with large celebrations on New Years Eve (dec 31); almost every shop closed at 18.00 o'clock
- Easter Sunday, Easter Monday;
- Ascension Day (Thursday, 40 days after Easter);
- King's Day - King Willem - Alexander ’s birthday (April 27); if the King’s Birthday falls on Sunday the celebrations take place the day before
- Pentecost Sunday (7th Sunday after Easter) and Pentecost Monday;
- Christmas Day (December 25) and Boxing Day (December 26).

Shops are open on Monday at 13.00 o'clock also they are some shops are open at 08.00 am. From Thursday – Sunday, and closed 18.00 or 20.00 o'clock ( depend on shops).
Thursday almost every shop around shopping center are open until 21.00 o'clock, we call it “koopavond” or night shopping”
