The Nice thing in Amsterdam is not only taking place in Central Amsterdam or old part of it but also the most important and the most beautiful place. Bijmerplein or The Amsterdamse Port is one place that I like to visit every now and then on Saturday morning.
Why? Because their life looks a little bit easier than the rest of the City. Everybody seems to relax, nobody needs to hurry to do their weekend shopping. For example, they start Saturday morning with a cup of coffee, or something to be eaten at a nice cafe or restaurant. The shopping center will be not busy before 12 o' clock in the morning. It feels like I am visiting Suriname, Africa. I feel that I am on holiday, just for a couple of hours.
